Coven of the Bright Isle | Short
Meet Mandy, the High Priestess of the Coven of the Bright Isle, and her husband Ian. This is the first in a series of short documentaries set in the Isle of Thanet. Louis Theroux's chose Coven of the Bright Isle as his runner-up in December 2015 Shooting People Film of the Month. He described it as: "...a charming and enjoyable film [...] a compelling portrait of the Wiccan witchcraft community on the Isle of Thanet. I really liked the opening of Coven, the music track over the sweeping shots of the beach ritual. I enjoyed the two main characters. It’s a good subject – Wiccans and Witches. I felt it was a good introduction to the religious side of the story. I found myself curious about the Mandy and Ian and the more day-to-day side of their relationship and their conflicts" - http://bit.ly/covenbrightisle
